Hydronix HF2-series filter housings accompany a thin flat cap that is available in 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch and 1/2inch female NPT ports. These housings are accessible in a variety of colors. Although HF2 housings are ideally suited for 2.5” diameter cartridges, they can also comfortably hold most 4 7/8 inch cartridges. Both the housing materials and caps are manufactured from high-quality polypropylene. These components can fit seamlessly into a range of applications including pre- and post-filtration points for reverse osmosis systems, under-sink filtration systems, ice machines, food service stations, coffee makers and other point-of-use devices. The HF2-5WHWH14 is a compatible replacement for the Pentek #5 Slim Line Housing, this particular housing does not feature a pressure release valve.
