Filmtec’s TW30 series of RO membrane elements are made from high-precision production processes ensuring that each filter membrane can provide consistently excellent performance and quality for both commercial and residential applications. Filmtec TW30 RO membranes are available in 24, 36, and 100 gallons per day (GPD) usage needs to accommodate specific user requirements. They can be managed with a range of applications including under-the-sink water treatment systems and point-of-use (POU) equipment such as water dispensers, ice makers and refrigerators.
Filmtec TW-30 series filers use an industry-leading high flux, high-rejection membrane material to produce incredibly useful salt rejection with low water pressure. The RO membrane offers a large surface area that is mainly designed for optimized performance in variable environments. These filters are particularly well-suited for use in high hardness appliances although we do recommend that an additional carbon/sediment pre-filter is applied where chlorinated water is present. Despite their relatively low psi rating, these filters will produce up to 20% more output than higher rated alternatives.
All filter membranes should be renewed within 2-5 years. Components are shipped dry to allow for prolonged shelf life.
All material components in the Filmtec TW-30 filters have been certified for NSF/ANSI standard 42, which defines the safety, efficiency and structural integrity criteria for membranes used in POU RO systems.
