The Aries AF series Nitrate Reduction Filter utilizes a cutting-edge ResinTech SIR-100-HP ion exchange resin to produce highly effective nitrate removal in a variety of sources including municipal water lines and well water. The Aries filter uses specialty absorbents to create a strong nitrate affinity; this ensures that nitrates are purified at 25 time’s greater rate than in strongly basic anion exchange resins. Due to the material properties of the Aries cartridge, it can effectively reduce a variety of chemical contaminants including nitrates, sulfates, and chlorine. The targeted nitrate removal capabilities of this filter make it particularly useful for specific environments where nitrate removal is favored over sulfates and other contaminants.
This filter cartridge can be handled as a replacement in any standard or slim 10” housing, in either residential or industrial applications. The open double-ended design means that it can easily be placed into any existing system with ease. The 10” frame of the filter provides the maximum surface area for media fill, with a 50% higher holding capacity than similar cartridges; this works to extend the overall shelf life of the filter. The Aries Nitrate Reduction Filter has also been padded with a polyester padding, for added durability and stability.
All the parts of the Aries AF-series filter have been certified for NSF/ANSI Standard 61. All verification has been administered by the Water Quality Assurance board (WQA), which certifies that filtration performance of this cartridge surpasses rigorous industry standards. Based on these tests the AF-series filters have been awarded a gold seal certification from the WQA. All construction materials are also FDA-approved for use in drinking water systems. The cartridge’s sonic welded frame ensures that no solvents are involved in the production and assembly of the Aries Nitrate Reduction Filter.
