The 50% Calcite/Corosex Filter - Aries Specialty AF-10-3232 Calcor Neutralization Cartridge is a blend of calcite and corosex designed to increase the pH level in your water and allow mineralization. If your pH is less than 6.0, calcite alone does not break down fast enough to correct the pH to be neutral. The specific blend of calcite and corosex corrects the pH over a more extended range. The AF-10-3232-BB Aries FilterWorks pH Neutralization Cartridge is designed with a propriety blend of Corosex® and Calcite®. The basic benefit of using Corosex® is that it dissolves much faster than Calcite®. If the initial pH is less than 6.0, Calcite® alone does not dissolve fast enough to correct pH to neutral. Blending the products, allows the pH to be corrected over a more effective range. Aries / Calcor® Cartridge specific blend helps to create a balanced product that will deliver a natural effluent without the negative impact of overcorrection. The cartridge controls pH, corrosion, and allows mineralization.
