General Shipping Guidelines

  • Business days are defined as Monday through Friday and exclude Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
  • All orders are pending until address, payment, price and merchandise availability are verified.
  • Express shipping orders will be processed within 24 business hours, pending verification of payment, shipping information and product availability.
  • Standard Shipping orders are typically processed within 72 business hours, pending verification of payment,shipping information, and product availability.
  • Order delays due to invalid payment or address information are not the responsibility of
  • Delivery delays due to inclement weather conditions are not the responsibility of or the carrier.
  • com currently only ships within the United States and Canada.
  • Free Shipping only applies to customers who spend over $75.00 in the United States only, excluding Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii. International customers must pay for international shipping.


Return Policy

Most items may be returned if new, unused, and unopened in original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund minus shipping costs.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item received is deemed incorrect or defective.

A RMA number must be obtained from BUYDIRECTWATERFILTERS before returning items received incorrect or defective. Please follow the return procedures carefully before returning any item to ensure timely credit or refund.

All returned “commercial” products, including, but not limited to, all water coolers,  reverse osmosis membranes rated at >100 gpd, UV systems, and large group emergency water products, are subject to a 20% restocking fee. 

Point-of-entry reverse osmosis systems are custom based on requests in the individual order and therefore cannot be returned or refunded. 

Refunds are processed within 2-5 business days of returned item delivery to BUYDIRECTWATERFILTERS. It may take several more days for bank processing before funds are received.


Store Credit/Exchanges

The above return policy also applies to exchanges. We will apply the payment from the first order, minus original shipping and handling costs, to your second order. You will be responsible for any additional costs for the second order not covered by the credit from the first order. Please note that the original order item(s) must be returned first.

If you prefer, store credit may be issued for the product returned minus shipping costs.
